Daniel Freeman is the Founder and Executive Director of Inspiration Point, a multidisciplinary arts center dedicated to expanding access to the arts in underserved communities. His work is rooted in advancing socio-cultural equity, economic opportunity and environmental sustainability. He is particularly committed to increasing accessibility to the arts and harnessing their transformative impact on communities. This commitment is reflected in his work repurposing undeveloped industrial spaces in underrepresented neighborhoods into arts destinations that support emerging local talent. In addition to conceiving, designing and developing Inspiration Point, Daniel serves on the Boards of Trustees for several national labor union benefit funds, including the United Steelworkers, United Food and Commercial Workers, and Wine and Liquor Salesmen unions. In these roles, he helps oversee programs that provide union members with access to quality, affordable healthcare and long-term financial security in retirement.
